Milton James Heaps, 23, died Sunday evening in a traffic accident near Tooele.

Born Nov. 18, 1938, Escalante, Garfield County, to Alfred A. and Ada McIhelly Heaps.

Married Jane Anderson, November 1958. California. Divorced. Married Peggy Ann Fixal. Oct 7, 1961, Sandy.

Served four years in the NAVY. Carpenter. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors: widow; son, daughters, Debra Ann, Salt Lake City; Mary Jane, Jimmy D., both California; parents, Sandy; brothers, Vernon G., in Navy at San Francisco; Arien, Sandy; sisters, Mrs Jack (Colleen) Hartman, California; Mrs Jack (Alice) Schmidt, Bountiful; Miss Arlene Heaps, Sandy; grandmother, Mrs. James (Elsa) McInelly, Escalante.

Funeral Thursday, 10 a.m. Sandy Sixth LDS Ward chapel. 1200 E. 8600 So. Friends call 8090 So. State Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Thursday prior to services. Burial Sandy City Cemetery.

Milton attended Jordan High School and was killed in a head on collision near Tooele, in Tooele County.
He will be missed by all who loved him.
I knew Milton as him and my brother Doug were friends in high school. Rest in Peace.
