MILWAUKEE, Wis.-James H. Christensen, 82, formerly of Iron River, died July 11 at St. Luke's Hospital.
He grew up in Iron River, graduating from the Iron River High School, class of 1931. He attended Northern Michigan College and served in World War II. After moving to Milwaukee he was employed by A & P and Badger Meter Co. until he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents M/M George A. Christensen.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn; a son Brian (Gayle); a daughter Karen (Ed) Zenne of Florida; two stepdaughters, Phyllis Nossman and Rita (James) Fugger of Milwaukee; two sisters, Dolores Montambo and Eunice Hamacher of Stambaugh; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held July 16 at Max A. Sass Greenridge Chapel.
Burial was at Arlington Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
