ARTHUR C. ANDERSON DIES SUDDENLY
It was a shock to many here Tuesday to hear of the sudden death of Arthur C. Anderson, who died that morning after an illness of a week with scarlet fever. He contracted a sore throat last week and later went to his bed where he remained until the following Tuesday morning, when his condition grew critical and he was taken to St. Joseph's hospital, where he died half an hour later. He was a young man of high character and exemplified all the qualities of a loyal son.
Deceased was born at St. Paul, September 11, 1904. When he was less than a year old his father died and his mother moved to this city. He has lived here since and attended the public schools, graduating from the McKinley high in 1922. The past three years he has been engaged at the printing trade in the employ of the Lester Printery. He was a member of Company C and his many friends in that organization deeply mourn his untimely death. His only survivor is his heart broken mother, Mrs. Clara Anderson, who has the sympathy of all in her hour of sorrow. Burial was made in Hillside cemetery Tuesday afternoon at four o'clock.
