Christian nun. She was the last alive worldwide member belonging to Beguine order. She entered the order of the Beguines at the age of 21. She first stayed in the Sint-Amandsberg beguinage in Ghent, but later moved to the Kortrijk beguinage. With her just disappears an 800 years' religious movement, who was an unique female religious and social phenomenon emerged in the Middle Ages, in present Belgium and Netherlands, and soon spread to northern France and western Germany.
