Services for Everett Temple, 80, Grundy Center, who died at his home Wednesday morning will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center with burial at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born Jan. 31, 1903 at, Morton Minn., He was the son of John J. Temple and Tina (Bleeker) Temple. He was reared in Grundy Center area and married Helen Siefken June 11, 1927 at the Colfax Center Church Parsonage. They lived in Grundy Center for one year, than moved to South Dakota returning to Grundy Center in 1943.
Mr. Temple farmed, and ran a cream route and worked for Rath's in Waterloo for 13, years. He retired in the spring of 1962.
Mr. Temple was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Doris Arends, Grundy Center; two sister's Sophia Bristley of Condrad andy Jenny Boylen, Reinbeck; two grandsons and three great- grandchildern.
Engelkes - Ables funeral home , Grundy Center, is in charge of the arrangements, and a memorial fund has been established.
