ADAMS, MRS. PATRICIA JEWEL age 76, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away, Thursday, September 9, 2010, at home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mabel Vermillion; daughter, Kathy Jo Price; and nephew, Thomas E. Greene, Jr. Left to remember this loving mother, grandmother, sister and wife are her husband, Thadis O. Adams; sisters, Deborah K. Garrison, Elizabeth Dalton, Norma J. (Thomas) Greene, Shirley Ann (Sam) Merrell; grandchildren, Todd Price, Travis Price, Ashley Price; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 7 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Oliver Cameron will officiate. Interment will be Monday, September 13, 2010 at 1 PM at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, GA. Special thanks to her sister, Deborah for being by her side over the past year and a half, as well as Ms. Gussie Davis and all those with Healthfield Hospice.
