Mrs. K.A. Edwards, Mrs. Nels Johnson, Mrs. J.A. Schallenberger, of Chicago are at Valders today to attend the funeral of their sister, Mrs. Helena Nelson.

The funeral of Mrs. Helena Nelson, aged 70, widow of the late Ole Nelson, took place last Thursday afternoon from the home of her daughter–in-law, Mrs. N.O. Nelson, with interment at the Gjerpen Norwegian Lutheran church.

For some time past Mrs. Nelson had been ailing and on Friday last relatives were summoned to bid the final farewell. On Saturday morning the death call came.

The deceased is survived by one son, Oscar, of the state of Washington, three daughters, Mrs. Pederson and Mrs. Holm of Tigerton, Wis., and Mrs. Knudson, N 9th St., Manitowoc, all of whom were in attendance at the funeral.
