Obituary for Ms. Betty Mae Lee
Lee – Betty Mae Lee, age 81, of Starke, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was born in Dinuba, CA on June 2, 1931 to the late Henry Cexton and Margaret Ertmode-Cexton. Betty has been a resident of Bradford County for over sixty years after moving from California. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and she retired from the Bradford County School System in 1985 after 7 years of employment. She spent most of her life as a homemaker where she enjoyed crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Maurice Alfred Lee; her brother, Edward Cexton; and her son-in-law, Clarence Lang.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Lee Lang of Clay Hill, FL, Ricky (June) Lee of Starke, FL, and Robert (Robin) Lee of Starke, FL; her sister, Delores Morgan; her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Archie Tanner Funeral Services with Pastors Gary Melvin and Jason Cain officiating. Interment will follow at Kingsley Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of ARCHIE TANNER FUNERAL SERVICES, Starke, Fl. 904-964-5757.
