Surviving: wife, Mrs. Betty Wells Abernathy; daughters, Mrs. Debbie A. Jones of Fuquay-Varina, Mrs. Sarah A. Ogburn of Willow Springs; sister, Mrs. Marie A. Penny of Chalybeate Springs; three granddaughters; father-and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence P. Wells of Fuquay-Varina.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Girls and Boys Homes of Lake Waccamaw, Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, N. C. 28450.
