Alfred Beaucage, also known as Norbert.
Son of Louis Beaucage and Aurélie Paquin, baptised on September 8th 1856, born two days before in Saint-Norbert-d'Arthabaska.
Married Gracieuse Paradis on May 2nd 1881 - 15 children, 11 lived to Adulthood: Aimé, Adélard, Napoléon, Annie, Henry, Laura, Albert, Eugène, Alfred, Bertha, Émile.
As a young man Albert was a farmer in Quebec, when he emigrated to Lewiston, Maine in 1868, he worked as a card grinder in a cotton mill, moved to Auburn, Maine in 1900 and continued working in a cotton mill until he died from a stroke on Dec 21st 1908. (Thank you Deanna Ouellette Ruel)
