Evangeline Miriam Anderson (Nelson), age 86 went to be with her Lord, Friday, April 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Anderson; parents Alice and Raymond Nelson. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Becky (Gene) Schnuckel, Kristine (Stephen) Holman and Joseph (Lori) Anderson; David Schnuckel, Eric (Jen) Schnuckel, Anne Holman, Elisabeth (Jake) Zerkle, Julie Holman, Karen Holman, Katie (Michael) Sciscenti and Ben Anderson; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Howard Nelson; and 2 nephews.
Vangie graduated from North Park University and Drake University. She was a public school teacher, Pastor's wife, musician and worked with Bibles International.
Visitation with the family will be held 6:30PM- 9PM Friday, May 2, 2014 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) with Pastor Stephen Holman officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery. In honor of Evangeline and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bibles International.
