Born Nov. 17, 1911, near Holyoke, Colo., he was the son of George Oliver and Ethel Brown Hall. On Sept. 14, 1939, he married Melba L. Fynquist in Nashua. She died Feb. 25, 2004.
Mr. Hall worked for J.I. Case Co. for 34 years, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Des Moines County Extension Council Board and played baseball for the Burlington Semi Pro League on the J. & R., Moose Lodge and J.I. Case teams. He enjoyed sports, games, golfing and working on his farm.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
