Catherine Moore Jacks was the daughter of Walter Hodges Moore & Charlotte Webster Moore.

She married Robert Coleman "Coley" Jacks, on March 6, 1918 (license date says 03/07/18), in Madison County, Alabama. To this union was born eight children - Maria Zelma, Faustine Ella (Ellett), Emelyn (Walls), Dwight Humphrey, Wiley Denson, Naomi Ann (Kelly), James Finis, and William Robert.

Of these children, three - Zelma, James, and William - died as infants and were buried in the Campground Cemetery.

Catherine, who was a member of the Big Cove Free Holiness Church, died August 23, 1929, due to complications from childbirth. She was laid to rest in the Campground Cemetery.
