Harry A. Powell, 86, of Clearwater, died Saturday, November 4, 2000, at Largo Medical Center.
He was born in South Solon, Ohio, and came here in 1985 from Springfield, Ohio. An Army veteran of WWII, he worked as a warehouseman for 25 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn, Ohio. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Eagles and VFW, both of Springfield.
He is survived by a son, Joseph E., of Clearwater; a sister, Joan Porter, of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Illinois.
