Anna nee Gardner Meyer 84 of Metropolis, died May 7th in Silver Cross Hospital, Joliet, IL, after a short illness.
She was born 20 Feb. 1906 in Wheaton. She resided most of her life in West Chicago, IL.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary (Wiesbrock)Gardner, two brothers Allie and John Gardner, four sisters, Marion Simmons, Madge Lehman, Bertha Smith and Henrietta Havlik.
Anna was a full-of-life person! Many remember her walking her donkey wearing her big straw hat thru main St., West Chicago!
