Died 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 1988, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 88, and a native of Franklin County, Miss. He was a retired Ethyl Corp. employee. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Masonic services at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Religious services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Idelle Caraway; two sons, Gaylon Caraway, Baton Rouge, andDonald Caraway; a sister, Lillie Vardeman; and a grandchild. He was a member of Fairfields Lodge No. 425, F&AM, Istrouma Commandery No. 28 of Knights Templer and Istrouma Chapter No. 92 of R.A.M.
