Siblings of Richard Ballou 1887-1961
Here is something a little different. I am looking for information on Ida Bell Ballou, born April 29, 1873 in Fairfield, Utah. Her parents reportedly were Richard Ballou, said to be born in New York, and his wife Sarah Simmons. Family legend states that Richard and Sarah were killed in an avalanche/stagecoach accident, leaving Ida to raise her younger brother, Ed Ballou. Ida eventually married Lorenzo Spencer Allcock, who reportedly was born on February 23, 1864 in Iowa. Their first child, Minnie Bell Allcock, was born on January 16, 1893 in Eureka, Juab County, Utah. I have information on her siblings and thier descendants. Can anyone help me with anything on Richard Ballou, his wife Sarah Simmons, or thier daughter Ida Bell Ballou? Please contact me at [email protected]
