Henrietta Cassady, 73, of 14028 Village Mill Drive, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the Williamsport Retirement Village.

Born Sunday, March 17, 1940, in Rhodell, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Charlie G. Hylton and the late Etta O. Hylton.

She was a manager at Subway and a cook at Mountain Gate Restaurant. She was a member at the Fundamental Baptist Church. She also was the author of two books.

She is survived by:
her daughters,
Melissa Fox of Hagerstown and
Dreama Stotelmyer of Waynesboro, Pa.;
son, Victor Cassady of Zullinger, Pa.;
sister, Pina Nance of Stuart, Va.;
brothers,
Robert Hylton of Martinsville, Va.,
Emmett Hylton of Fieldale, Va.,
Wesley Hylton of Sandy Ridge, N.C.,
Russel Hylton of Madison, N.C.,
Harless Hylton of Lawsonville, N.C., and
James Hylton of Madison; and
six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by:
sisters,
Lelia Rorrer and
Willa Mae Shelton and
brother, Carl Hylton.

Services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown, with Pastor Daniel Staley officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 26, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Interment will be at the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, MD 21795.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fundamental Baptist Church, 146 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
