"Allen T. Swaim
Allen T. Swaim, aged about 62,
died Wednesday morning, Novem-
ber 5, at the home of his brother C.
A. Swaim in New Martinsville, W.
Va.. He had a stroke of paralysis
four years ago and has been dis-
abled ever since. Mr. Swaim was a
son of the late Jack Swaim, former
representative in the Ohio legisla-
ture from Vinton county, and his
wife, Nancy Sage Swaim. He left
two brothers and one sister: C. A.
Swaim of New Martinsville, Charles
Swaim of Huntington, W. Va., and
Mrs. Maude Neal of Detroit, Mich.
H. B. Sage of the county auditor's
office, Athens, is an uncle of de-
ceased, and he was a cousin of Dr.
Erminnie Smallwood of McArthur
and H. J. and Harry Swaim of Mc-
Arthur are his nephews. Mr. Swaim
when in health, was a train dis-
patcher and trainmaster at hunt-
oington. He was a member of the
Order of Elks and lived at Hunting-
ton for 40 years. The body will be
brought here Friday and funeral
services will be Saturday afternoon."
