GWEN MAXINE FINE, of Houston, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2004. She was born on April 3, 1915 in Redmond, Oregon. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a salesperson extraordinaire during a career that spanned 50 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Robert. Gwen was a member of Second Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Her beautiful faith in our Lord and her courage in her final days were an inspiration to us all. Gwen is survived by three sons, Robert, Richard and Roger; three daughters in law, Patricia, Cynthia and Debbie; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Sarah, Kirby, Carter, Callie, and Brian and Kevin Karr; and three great grandchildren, Trevor, Devin and Cameron Karr. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2004, in the Hankamer Chapel at Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway, Houston, Texas.
