Shyanne Madale Perkins was born on July 13, 1994, in Houston, Texas. She was a 2012 graduate of Katy High School, where she participated in the Bengal Brigade. Shyanne loved rodeo, mudding, and football. She was a big Houston Texans fan, a loving aunt, a loving sister to her brother Tyler, and she always left you with a smile. She has lived in Katy for all of her life, where she attended Kingsland Baptist Church.
Shyanne passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013, at the age of 18 years.
She is survived by her mother, Shyrl Perkins; father, Keith Perkins; sister, Shelby and her husband Tres Kennedy; brother, Tyler Owen Thomas Perkins; nephew, Brayden Morris Kennedy; niece, Addison Taylor Kennedy; nephew, Landon Cruz Kennedy; grandmothers, Shirley Ray Bond and Niki Perkins; uncle, William Keith Maxwell; aunt, Tina Marie Maxwell; uncle, Denny Perkins; and uncle, Todd Perkins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William Morris Bond and Michael D. Perkins; and her great grandmother, Celeste "Honey" Perkins.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Crandall officiating. Interment in Katy Magnolia Cemetery.
