Elsie came to Canada with her mother and two brothers in 1931. They moved to Remo, British Columbia to join her father. She married Edward in 1945. They had two children Diana and Donald. They lived in Terrace, Prince Rupert, Burnaby, Sechelt, and finally Surrey. Elsie loved her family and her pure bred dogs.

Elsie, March 6th, 1922 - July 29th, 2005. Predeceased by husband Edward and daughter Diana. Survived and loved by son Don; grandchildren Terri, Leah, Tricia; and great-grandchildren Callan and Anhdraya. Service Thursday, August 4th, at 2:00 pm, at Ocean View Funeral Home, Burnaby
