Edward was born in Canada to 1st generation German immigrants. He was drafted in WWII and was assigned to guard the coast in B.C. where he met his wife Elsie. They were married in 1945.

Edward J. born December 20, 1917, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2005. Predeceased by his daughter Diana Yendall. Survived by his wife Elsie; son Don; 3 granddaughters Terri, Leah and Tricia; and 2 great-grandchildren Callan and Anhdraya.
