TWITTY, CORA MAE - age 88, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Powell. Preceded in death by son, Johnny Hodge. Survived by husband of 66 years, Archie H. Twitty; sons, H.R. Twitty and wife, Marlene, Douglas Twitty and wife, Pat; daughter, Marsha Webster and husband, James; grandchildren, Billy Twitty and wife, Patty, Michael Twitty and wife, Heather, Jerry Twitty, Richard Twitty, Rachel Berry, Jessica Booth and husband, Zac, Shelly Hodge, Michael Hodge and wife, Melissa; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Pauline Bibbins; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday with the funeral service to follow with Pastor Clarence Sexton officiating at the Curtis Hutson Center of Temple Baptist Church of Powell. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday for the interment at 11:00 a.m. in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
