Theodore "Ted" R. Webster, 80 years of Toledo, OH and formerly of Erie, MI , died Thursday, April 28, 2005 in The Toledo Hospital. Born Oct. 1, 1924 in Port Clinton, OH, he was the son of Leslie and Susie (Woolrum) Webster. He married Pauline Miller on Dec. 8, 1945 in Erie , MI . A WWII Army veteran, he was a P.O.W. in Germany for 6 months. He was in the 95th Infantry Division the Iron Men of Metz, where he also received the Purple Heart, American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. Ted was a member of the Rossford United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Post 606, Ex-POW Maumee Chapter, Harbor Light Lodge, #746, where he was past master, F.& A.M., Toledo Chapter, # 61, RAM, O.E.S., Lotus Chapter and was also a 32 mason.

Surviving are his loving wife, Pauline. Daughter, Linda (Pat) Pietrykowski. Granddaughters, Tammy Maran, Jennifer & Julie Webster and 5 great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Frank Webster, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

Friends may call from 2-9 pm Sunday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman), where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am. Ex POW services will be held Sunday at 7:00 pm followed by Masonic Services at 7:30 pm. Rev. Mark Montgomery, officiating. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park . Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio.
