Wilson Comstock Bryan, age 93, passed away April 20, 2013 at Dunbar Care and Rehab Center, Dunbar, WV. Born January 24, 1920, in St. Albans, WV, he was a son of the late John and Ida May Bryan.

He was also preceded in death by
his wife, Dorothy A. Davis Bryan;
sisters, Henrietta Kidd and Frances White;
niece, May Alice Walden.

He served as Staff Sgt. fighting in the Philippines for the 101st Division Airborne Army Air Corp. in WWII, 1941-1944. He retired from Union Carbide Corp. as a Rigger. He always had a passion for horses; raising, showing, training. He participated in many shows and won awards. He owned stables and pastures for all his horses. His nickname, known by many was "Pony Boy". He was also a farmer and loved many other animals/wildlife. He could even get squirrels to eat from his hand.

He is survived by
daughter, Rebecca Nickerson of Hurricane, WV;
granddaughter, Rebecca Hall (Charlie) of Franklin Furnace, OH;
great granddaughters, Jessica Woods (Bobby) of Huntington, WV and Samantha Brooks of Brookshire, TX;
his nieces, Debbie Payne (widowed Floyd L. Payne) of Goose Creek, SC, Sharon Davis Larck of St. Albans, WV, Victoria Scites (William Scites) of Round O, SC and Donna Becket (widowed Lawton Beckett) of Moncks Corner, SC.

Funeral service at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, 409 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans, WV with Pastor Mark Patton officiating. Burial in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, WV.
