Glenna Fay Shirley Dill,55, died at her home in the Johnson Chapel Community Friday,December 10,1999. She had been a long time resident of the community and attended Des Arc schools.
Fay was a supervisor with Odom's Satellite Co.in Beebe for several years. She became ill with a malignancy two years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Audie & Maxie(Ring)Shirley and two brothers: Billy Don Shirley & David Shirley.
She is survived by her daughter,Janet and son-in-law James Kent,grandchildren Dustin & Lauren Kent, and her very good friend & ex-husband, Lamar Dill. Other survivors include six sisters,Dortha Bone,Ruthel(Estus)Stanley,and Joyce(Benny)Taylor all of Des Arc,Bertha(Jim)Buffington of Cabot,Alma Jones of Jonesboro,And Willene(Terry)Kusler of Griffithville;two brothers:Oneal(Lucy)Shirley of Indiana & William(Marie)Shirley of Heber Springs and a host of nieces,nephews and other relatives.
CAUSE OF DEATH: Cancer
