Ann F. Henson 92, of Plano, formerly of Abilene passed away July 17, 2011 Visitation services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011 at North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street, Abilene, Texas, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be a graveside service on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Henson Ranch Cemetery with Ronnie Lorenz officiating.

She was born July 24, 1918 in Snook, Texas to Charlie and Minnie Foyt. She married A.J. "Shorty" Henson on August 31, 1940. They were married for sixty years before his demise. She attended the University of Texas and Texas A & M.

They lived in Abilene, Texas for fifty years and attended Woodlawn church of Christ.

Survivors include son Andy Mack Henson and wife, Mary Jane, of Houston, Texas, daughter Sue Savage and husband, Phil, of Richardson, Texas, and daughter Ginger Rogers and husband, Tony, of College Station, Texas, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Ben Richey's Boys Ranch or West Texas Rehabilitation.
