EDWARD BLANEY
Edward Blaney, of23 Lindel street, died yesterday at the Gale (sic) hospital after a short illness in his 70th year. He was born in Springfield, Vt., but had been a resident of Haverhill for 27 years. Mr. Blaney had been employed as a janitor in various Haverhill establishments.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Nellie Blaney, a son, Fred Blaney; two daughers, Mrs. Harland M. Haight, of Newton, N.H., and Mrs. Oliver Parenteau and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 8 from the chapel of William J. Comeau, 102 Lafayette square, where Mr. Blaney may be seen at any time. Requiem high mass will be celebrated in St. James church at 8:30. Burial will be in ST. James cemetery.

The funeral of Edward Blaney of 23 Lindel Street was held yesterday morning at 8 from the funeral chapel of William J Comeau, 102 Lafayette Square. Requiem high mass was celebrated in St. James Church at 8:30 by Rev. Thomas O'Toole.
As the body entered the church the choir sang "De Profundis." At the rectory, Edward J Moran rendered Jesu Salvator Mundi and as the body was being taken from the church Miss Katherine G Scannell organist who presided at the console played Come Ye De.......
The bearers were Harlan Haight, Oliver Parenteau, Edward Fitzgerald, Arthur Rochen, Joseph Comeau, and Everett Haight. Burial was in St. James Cemetery with Rev Father O'Toole conducting the committal service.
