Margaret Mary Zigarevich, 82, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at the Andover Village Retirement Community. She was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Buckhannon, W.Va., the adopted daughter of Paul Joseph and Emilia Ragan Maurer. She was a 1949 graduate of Liberty High School in Liberty. A longtime Gustavus resident, Mrs. Zigarevich was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, playing bingo and Crocheting, and she was a competitive card player. Mrs. Zagarevich married Frank Zigarevich on Feb. 16, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Anne (Frank) Adams of Gustavus; a son, Frank J. (Lori) Zigarevich of Roxboro, N.C.; a daughter, Susan M. (Rod) Mullett of Hartford; a daughter, Julie (Sean) Davis of Howland; a son Michael P (Mary) Zigarevich of Burghill; and two grandchildren, Maegan and Nicholas Zigarevich of North Carolina. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Baumgardner Funeral and Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman. Cremation will follow services. Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. In leiu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, OH 44004.
