PANORA - A funeral for Earl C. Adair, 69, of Panora was held Aug. 13, 1993 at Beidelman Funeral Home at Panora, with burial following at the Brethren Cemetery. Mr. Adair died on Aug. 10 at Greene County Medical Center at Jefferson.
The son of Harry and Opal Caskey Adair, he was born near Panora on Oct. 30, 1923. He entered the U.S. Army in 1945 and served as a clerk until his discharge in 1946. On Dec. 6, 1947, he married Darlene Sneller at Guthrie Center. He was a retired farmer, and also raised chickens for Hi Line for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Gordon Earl Adair.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene; three daughters; Sharon Meyer of Raleigh, N.C., Connie Bates of Adel and Teresa Fletcher of Auburn, Neb.; a sister, Elaine Feichtinger of Austin, Texas; a brother, Estal Adair of Panora; and five grandchildren.
