Francis "Louise" Hall Bond, age 86, of Avon Park, Florida, formerly of Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Friday afternoon, April 26, 2013, at her residence.
She was born October 15, 1926, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Tom and Nora Bailey Hall.
Louise was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Avon Park and was a Bible class teacher. She enjoyed sewing, painting, doing crafts, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Hall, Bobby Hall, and William Otha Hall, and six sisters, Rosella Harlan, Annabelle Bridenthal, Irene Fultz, Lucille Kelly, Pauline Smith, and Kitty Jarvis.
Louise is survived by her husband of 65 ½ years, Elza Oscar Bond, one son, Thomas M. Bond of Columbus, OH., three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy E. and Billy Morris of Mountain City, TN., Linda J. Turner of Rudolph, OH., and Diana and Gary Constance of Lebanon, OH., nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and one brother, Larry Hall of Gas City, Indiana. She also leaves behind many other family members, church family, and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Garvin Ridge Wesleyan Church, Olive Hill, Ky., with Brother Philip Green and Brother J. C. Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Ky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel, Olive Hill, Ky., and after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Garvin Ridge Wesleyan Church.
Louise's grandsons, Tim Morris, Roger Porter Jr., John Back III, Jeremy Constance, Jason Back, and Zac Moffett, will serve as pallbearers.
