"Kay", age 92, formerly of Upper Arlington and Worthington and a resident of Trillium Place the last two and a half years, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a registered dietician and formerly was an associate with Youthland in Kingsdale and Worthington Square, where she was the #1 sales associate several times and enjoyed seeing her clients grow up and return with their children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Howard W. Amos in February, 2007, two brothers and two sisters. Catherine is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Ernest Rubadue of Savannah, GA, Barbara and Randal Roessler of Winter Park, FL and Margaret Amos of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Jeffrey Rubadue, Michael (Anne Marie) Rubadue, Roxzanne (Michael) Amos, W. Justin (Amy) Ried; great-grandchildren, C. Ross Rubadue and Anna Fricks Rubadue, Ryan Amos, Annabelle Ried and Hope Ried; and several nieces and nephews. Kay was a graduate of the University of Western Maryland. She was a longtime active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Mother's Club at The Ohio State University. She loved to sew, was an avid bridge player in two clubs and was a Brownie Troop and Girl Scout leader. Kay loved animals especially dogs and cats and most recently had enjoyed her visits from Toby.

A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2001 Northwest Boulevard, where family will receive friends immediately following the service. Pastor Stephen Wachtman officiating. Those who wish may contribute to the Memorial Fund c/o Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbus, OH 43212, in her memory. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road.
