Francis was the 2 grt. grandson or Dewald Clingler who came to America about 1738 and resided in Berks Co., Pa. Francis grandfather John ll, moved to Kentucky in 1795, and his father Rev. John Clingler was born in PA in 1717. He married Rachel Margaret Fee in Kentucky 1808 and then they moved to Indiana around 1838. Someone wrote to me that this is a duplicate site. However, I have so much more information than the other one. I just cannot take it off with all the dates and family connections I have on mine.;

Information sent by Richard Dawson for his site: Francis' parents were Rev. John and Rachel Margaret Fee Klingler, early residents of Boone County, IN. Francis was a farmer and a lumber manufacturer, livng in Union Township, Boone Co., IN He and his wife Mary Raised twelve children.
