Ralph was born in Perry Township, the son of Lyman and Ellen (Mengel) Becker. He was a member of Saint Luke's United Church of Christ, Shoemakersville; Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge No. 523, Hamburg; Eagle Mountain Home Association; and the Shoemakersville Fire Company. He had been an independent bakery route salesman in the Shoemakersville and Mohrsville areas. He was survived by his wife, one son, four daughters, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three sisters.
