KEVIL — Phillip Reid Cooper, 67, of Kevil passed away at 6:36 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Cooper was a member of Kevil First Baptist Church where he was a trustee, and a retired carpenter for USEC.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Peeler Cooper; two sons, Michael Cooper of Kevil and Tim Cooper and wife Tracy of West Paducah; three grandchildren, Phillip Cooper, Katie Cooper and Kristen Cooper; one sister, Tracy Jo Cooper Franklin of Freemont; and one brother, James Douglas Cooper of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lee Cooper. His parents were Aubrey Brown Cooper and Mattie Jo Reid Cooper.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Stewart Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Kenton Cemetery.
The Cooper family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today, October 4, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
