Mr. Stephen Wayne Brock, 54, of 1182 Crawford Ferry Road, Hartwell, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.
Born on May 23, 1958, he was the son of Susie Donald Brock of Hartwell and the late James Milledge Brock. He was retired from Monroe Automotive and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Hornick Brock of the home; one daughter, Shelley Nicole Brock of Hartwell; one son, Stephen Wayne Brock, Jr. of Iva, SC; three brothers: Stan Brock of Hartwell, Barry Brock of Hartwell, Donald Brock of Anderson, SC; one sister: Janet Bridges of Hartwell. Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Danny Brock.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lavonia, GA.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night. The family is at the home of Janet and Tony Bridges, 988 Hatton Ford Road, Hartwell, GA.
