Harley Walter Clark was born on June 14, 1928 to Roy and Anna (Rinkenberger) Clark in Donaldson, Mn. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith and attended school in Karlstad. Following school Harley worked in the Donaldson area for a number of years before enlisting in the Navy where he served briefly before being discharged in 1946. After his discharge he worked in the Donaldson and Kennedy area for a number of farmers. He was united in marriage to Betty Schultz at Jupiter Mission Church of rural Halma on November 4, 1949 and he and Betty made their home and farmed in the Halma community for a number of years. Both he and Betty later worked for Keene Farms of Kennedy for many years, her cooking and him working in the potato fields. They later moved to a small farm east of Karlstad where he raised a few sheep and cattle and he also worked for Ernest Carlson growing grain and potatoes. He and Betty later purchased a farm west of Karlstad where they raised dairy cattle, continuing to work for Ernest. In 1967, along with his dairy herd, Harley started his dairy supply business which he owned and operated for many years. He and Betty would winter in Florida and return to help on the family farm in the summer, eventually retiring full time to Zephyrhills, Fla. Not being one to simply retire Harley started a very successful Clark's Fruits & Nuts business venture in Florida. Betty passed away in 2008 and Harley continued to make his home and operate his business in Florida until 2012. Harley moved to LifeCare Greenbush Manor in July of 2012 where he as resided since, passing away there at the age of 84 years, 10 months, and 14 days. Harley was a long time member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Karlstad where he served as a past board member. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He very much enjoyed taking care and spending time with his dog, Homer, as well as all of the staff's dogs at LifeCare Greenbush Manor. Harley also enjoyed mowing lawns so much he also started a lawn care business in Florida. Harley is survived by his 2 sons: Arnie (Billie) of Greenbush and Doug Clark of Karlstad, 3 daughters: Delphine Rodgers of Green Cove Springs, Fla, Faye (Roger) Klemetson of Badger, and Janelle (Mark) Brozzetti; his grandchildren: Arnold, Derek, Chad, Brett, Evan Clark and Nikki Holten, Heather Koland, Brandon Clark, Shannon Ruud, Travis Wickman, Tracy Clift, Amy Rodgers, Brady and Sami Klemetson, Thomas and Ky Wahab; 28 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, 1 grandson Tyler Klemetson, and his siblings Clarence and Elmer Clark, Marion Englund, and Margie Simmons.

A Memorial Services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at First Lutheran Church in Karlstad.

Interment will be in Karlstad City Cemetery.
