Consider Fox and his older brother, William Fox left their home in New London, Connecticut and headed west settling in Old Albany (now Columbia) County, New York. Here they both joined the Albany County Militia during the American Revolutionary War. William married Mary Green while Consider married her youngest sister, Susannah Green both were daughters of Joshua & Dinah (Carpenter) Green of New Lebanon, Kings District, Albany County. After the war both families headed to the north country with William ending up in the town of Mayfield, Montgomery County and Consider ending up in the town of Broadalbin, also then located in Montgomery County. It has been said that Consider died in the town of Providence, Saratoga County, New York but was buried in Broadalbin. He and his wife, Susannah share one large headstone which is in a very good state of preservation.
