William married Rebecca Leathers on 9 Mar 1833 in Fairfield Co., Ohio.

They named their children: Nancy, Daniel, James, Clarissa, Magdaline, Louisa, Martha I, Sarah, William H., Elmira F., Mary C., Semo and Robert Franklin "Frank" Bryan.

Some records suggest that after his wife Rebecca died in 1862 when William was just 50 years old that he married a second time on 10 Aug 1864 in Van Wert Co., Ohio to Elizabeth (maiden name ?) Fletcher.

There is an Elizabeth Fletcher (b.3Nov1824, d.7Jun1914) who is buried in Woodland Union Cemetery in Van Wert Co., Ohio.

So perhaps given their short 3 year marriage before William's death, Elizabeth had him buried with his first wife and that she is now resting by her first husband.

More research is required to validate the suggestion that William married a second time.
