father of Grace Ethel McAviney is Bernard Edward Meyer (1909–?), who currently does not have a find-a-grave memorial. Can't determine when and where he died or buried. Grace Ethel Meyer's mother, Grace Ethel Andrews, remarried Anthony Spagnola in Feb 1953. Bernard Meyer's last known residence is Atlantic City Jail in 1940 US Census. Also, it looks like he enlisted in May 1941 in Trenton, NJ...possibly as a "get out of jail" opportunity.
