Janice L. Borgen, 68, Moorhead, MN., went home to be with her Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, February 6, 2008, in Eventide Lutheran Home.
Janice L. Klatt, was born on January 1, 1940, in Dunn Center, ND., to John and Pernellie Adams Klatt. She grew up and attended school in Killdeer, ND., graduating from Killdeer High School in 1958. She attended stewardess school, in Minneapolis, MN., and then moved to Denver, where she worked for Western Airlines.
She married Dennis Borgen, in 1961, at Perley, MN., and they made their home in Georgetown, MN.
Janice graduated from Interstate Business College, in Fargo, in 1990, and went to work for Kvamme Travel, in Moorhead. In the last years of her life, she was a devoted grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at the lake and with family, and she was an avid reader.
Janice is survived by her sons: Mike (Tina) Borgen, Georgetown, MN., and Tom (Stephanie) Borgen, Georgetown, MN.; daughter, Jana (Rob) Bye, Moorhead, MN.; eight grandchildren: John, Erik, and Matthew Bye, Greta, Brady, Lindsey, Ryan and Kylie Borgen; brothers: Wilbur Klatt, Erskine, MN., Herman Klatt, Aurora, CO., David (Charlotte) Klatt, Manning, ND., Richard Klatt, Billings, MT.; sisters: Margaret Hanson, Moorhead, Dorothy Tillis, Elk Grove, CA., Shirley (Duane) Hawkinson, Tioga, CA., Doris Lushbough, Rapid City, SD., Linda (Phil) Reinbold, Kimberling City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Clarence and Leslie.
Memorials may be given to Eventide Lutheran Home and Hospice of the Red River Valley.
