Mrs. Elizabeth J. Talbot, age 92, of Opelika, formerly of Dadeville, was born on April 21, 1921, in Marcellus, New York and passed away on April 27, 2013 at Bethany House in Auburn.

She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and was a nurse having served during World War II.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dean Talbot; two sons, John Michael Talbot and James Steven Talbot.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Kathleen (Edward) Smith and Mary Melinda (Lloyd) Sager; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 3pm at Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens, with Father Bill Skoneki officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.

Frederick-Dean funeral home is directing.
