Mr. Streich, who died Tuesday, was born in Ridgway, Pa. He came to Spokane from Ridgeway in 1939. He served in the Army during World War II in Manila.
Mr. Streich worked as a mail carrier for the Postal Service for 33 years, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, the Elks Lodge, and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Leona, in 1960, and by his second wife, Joan, in 1985.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church Building Fund.
