Jack Ketchen was married to Marianne Cecile McCrady in Glenn's Ferry, Ada, Idaho on 02 Dec 1929. They had one daughter, Dinah Jane Ketchen. They were divorced about 1960.

At the time of his death, he was living in Eugene, Oregon. It was my understanding that he was killed in a highway accident - a collision with a semi. This may explain why he is buried in Reno, Nevada.
