WILLIAM C. ADAMS.
Monticello, Mo., Aug. 9.—William C. Adams, 52, former resident of Monticello and Canton, died yesterday afternoon at 1 in a Burlington (la.) hospital following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 in the Giles funeral home at Burlington. Burial and graveside services will be Tuesday afternoon at Gilead.
Mr. Adams had served as a guard at the government arsenal at Burlington the last eight years. Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Yvonne, of the family home; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Smith of Monticello and Mrs. Fern Logsdon of Canton; two brothers, Clarence of Tahoe, Cal., and Albert of Silver Springs, Md., and an aunt who helped rear him, Mrs. Joe Hildman of Monticello.
