Joe Pinkney Tillman, Jr., 90, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Doctor's Hospital in Sarasota, FL. Graveside services are 3 P.M. Sunday February 24 at Odd Fellows cemetery. Dr. Joe Pate will officiate.
Joe was born in Belzoni, MS to Joel Pinkney Tillman, Sr. and Willie Jane Collier Tillman. He graduated from MS State University and served in the US Army during World War II on Okinawa. Mr. Tillman was self-employed as a Manufacturer's representative for over fifty years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sue Hull, and a brother, Jake Tillman.
He loved his family and friends with all his heart and he will be greatly missed.
