Nicolas "Nick" Ray Colwell, 19, of Mineral Wells, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, in Mineral Wells.
Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Rosary is 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Nick was born April 21, 1990, in Weatherford, Texas, the son of Tony and Ernestine Ortiz Colwell. He moved to Fort Worth, where he attended J.P. Elder Junior High School. He returned to Mineral Wells in 2004. He was an extruder operator at Southwire in Mineral Wells.
Survivors include his father, Tony Colwell, of Mineral Wells; mother and stepfather, Ernestine and Antonio Lujan, of Fort Worth; brother, Nathan Colwell and wife, Amanda, of Mineral Wells; nieces, Caitlyn and Cadence Colwell; nephew, Nathan Colwell Jr.; girlfriend, Amber Gray, of Mineral Wells; grandfather, Archie Colwell, of Mineral Wells; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Colwell, in 1978; and grandparents, Lucille and Mike Ortiz and Juanita Colwell.
