Obituary
MRS. ELLA J. HELSEL, formerly of Newry, died at the home of a son, Elmer, in Hollidaysburg yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. She was born at Catfish June 27, 1883, a daughter of John and Clara (McCloskey) Baker and married Charles H. Helsel, who died in 1955.
Mrs. Helsel was a life member of the Newry Lutheran Church. Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Clayton B. and Edward F. of Newry, Elmer S. of Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. Grace Strabaugh(sic) of Detroit, Mich.; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister and two brothers, Miss May and Blair of Duncansville and Marion of Hollidaysburg.
Friends will be received at the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, after 7 p.m. today.

HELSEL -- Services for Mrs. Ella J. Helsel of Newry and Hollidaysburg will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, by the Rev. Sterlen Sheaffer. Interment in the Newry Lutheran Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Liebegolt Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
