December 1991 - Passage. SPANISH FORK - Merril "Pat" Bingham, 78, of Spanish Fork, died Saturday, December 7, 1991 at his home.

He was born April 17, 1913 in Benjamin, a son of Monroe Lee and Priscilla Ludlow Bingham. He married Laura L. Finch July 9, 1935 in the Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Most of his life he worked as a plumber and pipefitter in the construction business. He was a longtime member and past president of the Diamond Fork Riding Club. He was a member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities including Bishop and Stake High Council.

Survived by his wife of Spanish Fork; three sons and one daughter, Finch Monroe Bingham, American Fork; John Kent Bingham, Billings, Mont.; Merril L. Bingham, Provo; Mrs Michael (Nancy) Swenson, Salem; one foster daughter, Mrs. Logan (Adele) Jones, Pleasant Grove; 27 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Lavinia Pickerel, Spanish Fork; Gerald Bingham, Lodi, Calif.; and James Bingham, Layton.

Services will be Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., in the Spanish Fork 6th Ward Chapel, 585 North Main, Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, at the ward chapel, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
